Lets see, the Berkeley County Republican party passed a resolution over 18 months ago calling for video recording of the meetings and the administration is just NOW starting to do this while claiming it is part of "their" transparency initiative. Can we say "Liar" ?

AND, GE&P would like to know why it takes TWO WEEKS to broadcast the recording and who has custody of the disk during this time?

Likely it has to be edited so it can fit in a 30 or 60 minute slot. My opinion is it's suspect if it's not live. We'll see tonight if fits in the 30/60 times slots.

the council meeting was running on berkeley cable channel 6 around noon yesterday. I'm sure it was viewed by many at that time of day.

Isn't that just peachy?

Are we saying that Dan Davis dictates Home Telephone? Would like to hear the excuse for why it was not shown as publized for last Wednesday night at, I believe, 8:30pm. Our Supervisor will do anything to protect him and his Council buddies from revealing to the majority of the public how stupid they are!!

You see it was aired. The time does not matter as long as it was aired. Just another little I got ya.

Stay tuned to this story. There are several chapters left.

It does matter when it was aired, when the public was advised, by the County and given the exact date and time!! It's much more than a little "I got ya"!! It's called a lie, deceit, corruption, irresponsible, incompetence, etc., and more when trying to "limit" the number of viewers by showing it in the middle of the day! There's probably at least four councilmen who are very satisfied with what happened with the initial airing of something that was pushed by the Berkeley County Republican Executive Committee and the thousands of citizens it represents!!

Well another month has gone by and no additional word on when or if the council meetings will be on home channel 6.
