PATHETIC

Well, it looks like it's "game on" with the new Berkeley County Council saga.  But, does it have to be so disappointingly predictable and sad? We must admit the Liberal's first salvo is more than a bit anemic.

All they can come up with is:

"You made all the Rules without our input." (just like we did)

"You didn't let us read the Rules before we passed them. (just like we did)

"You won't let us choose our seats." (just like we did)

"You've shut us out of the process." (just like we did)

"You're taking advantage of your majority." (just like we did)

Lesson to be learned:

IT AIN'T NO FUN WHEN YOU'RE NOT IN CHARGE.

There is side of this story untold by the media to date. Two years ago Dan Davis and his two RINO and two Democrat cohorts eliminated the ability to vote by the conservatives on the most crucial committees. This little act disenfranchised half the citizens of Berkeley County in the normal business of County Council. Turnabout would have been considered by many as fair play but the conservatives said no as two wrongs don't make a right.

Concerning the petty griping about seating arrangements:
"Me thinks thou doth protest too much"

Terry, how can this be? We thought Conservatives were supposed to be mean-spirited and nasty.

The media will never tell the story as it did not happen in Charleston. Plus, there is no public outcry and the public is not packing the council chamber every meeting demanding change. All news is controlled by those in Charleston. IMO, the Independent dances around the real issues like they do not want to get anyone in power upset. They even stopped letting you comment on stories. The video of the council meetings suck. It's like watching from the international space station. Most of the time you can't hear what is being said. The area is just too large to be covered by a single camera. What is needed is a live person with a zoom lens. It appears to me that they have learned to back away from the mike just enough to make hearing whomever is speaking almost impossible. An upgrade is badly needed.
