"IF" BIGGEST LITTLE WORD IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

According to our esteemed leader, Supervisor Dan Davis, Berkeley County is "on the cusp of phenomenal growth and incredible prosperity". If his assessment is correct, in the near future, we will all be drinking that free Bubble-Up and eating that Rainbow Stew.

Word to the wise: READ THE FINE PRINT

It seems there are a few "IFs" on which this rosy scenario balances.

IF the economy improves and Boeing expands....

IF support businesses decide to locate in BC....

IF BC can "find" revenue for more infrastructure projects.....

IF BC floats $MILLIONS in bonds....

IF BC continues to keep the 29% of our property tax relief.......

IF BC continues to cheat the School System out of their share of the FILOT.....

IF housing development materializes along Hwy. 176.....

IF BC taxpayers can endure higher taxes/debt.....

IF DD can manage to maintain his Democrat/RINO support on Council....

AND, the biggest IF of all....IF none of the myriad of interconnected wheels fall off this pie-in-the-sky wagon. With all these balls in the air, the law of averages dictates that one is bound to hit the ground.

When GE&P analyzes this plan in its entirety, we are forced to one inevitable conclusion:

"IF" FROGS HAD WINGS, THEY WOULDN'T BUMP THEIR ARSES ON THE GROUND

Right on GE&P. Knowing Dan Davis, his choice of the word "phenomenal" better describes him rather than "his" anticipated economic growth for Berkeley County! It would be interesting for him to list his "citizens centric" accomplishments during his first four years in office!! That truly would be "phenomenal"!!

The school district worked hard to remove Jim from office. Wonder how they feel about being bent over the desk to receive the fruits of their labor.
