Berkeley County Government to remove hundreds of trees.
Both sides of Whitesville Road on some thirty properties from Bonnoitt Street to the airport, will be thinned. Something about approach slope. Eminent domain and due process come to mind but this is Berkeley County, so who knows. Just something else the people have no clue about. Where are the tree huggers when you need them.
You are almost right. As we understand this issue, the trees have been condemned, not the land.
